Isolation Dreams
so in summary, where did we end up with all of this?
This is a story following the day to day life of a woman who has just lost a romantic partner. It's unclear the level of tragedy, but it doesn't matter. She's grieving, obsessing over the loss. Seriously struggling with moving on.
As a result, she is completely alone. She feels terribly isolated. There's a tinge of paranoia. A sense that the whole world has abandoned her. As she processes these feelings she seems to be getting further and further from reality.
She finds herself waking from "moments" (dreams, delusions?) to find that the world is not what she thought. The euphoria she imagines dies back to a cold, loneliness. It's an overwhelming, choking ache for something long gone.
Aaaand...from there idk. there's something in these bones to process. maybe enough to start sketching some moments and screenwriting
Something I have to decide...does she make her way back or lose herself in the pain? And what does either side of that journey look like? Is there a question of control, is that fork in the road a clear choice or is part of the point that it feels like there wasn't any?
