This topic was needed 50 years ago and will be 50 years from now, because the final goal - Leaders capable of leading this way - is never fully achieved
For me it is a personal goal to root leadership development into the army doctrines and strategies.
Breath of research questions
This is wide research topic. It has competence model development, and can also have measurement instrument and guidance for development programs.

No problems with resources like documents, articles and interviews
Might be a problem to find people to interview if i do international survey

I have enough connections to military people in Lithuania, and some - abroad.
Documents
There are numerous different level documents written on Mission Command.
Articles
Not so many, if we concentrate on Mission Command particulary, but enogh, if we look at somehow connected research.
Micropolitics
People
There are some myths about Mission Command and my study would show these. Though, in most cases, it is not a problem, since they are fading away anyway.
Documents
There is a gap in documents about the leader competences needed for a leader to lead in Mission Command style, so the research will not conflict with documents - only fill this gap.
Risk and security
The major risk is the opportunity after the study - changing development programs, which i am looking forward to:)
For this risk i already talk with stakeholders in my Academy, so they are aware of what is coming, and the early draft of the new model is already presented and welcomed
