THE THREE DIFERENT ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES
SECUNDARY SECTOR
This sector transform raw material or natural resources into manofactured products.
It´s usually associated whith the industry.
Light Industry
Make products for consumers, using raw meterials or semi-finished products.
It includes: Textile Industry, Automotive Industry,Food Industry, etc.
Construction Industry
Buildings (homes, factories) and Infrestructures (roads, ports).
Capital Goods Industry
This industry use products from Heavy Industry as raw materials to make the materials and machinery required by other industries.
These industries include: Construction Industry, etc.
Energy Production
Consists of extracting energy from natural resources. It also involves activities related to thhe manufacture of energy.
We ca talk about two types of energy resources
Renewable energies
Non-renewable energies
Heavy Industry
It´s aim is to transform raw materials into semi-finished product.
These industries include: Heavy Chemical industry, Metallurgy or Ferrous Metallurgy.
TERTIARY SECTOR
This sector includes all the activities that produce intangible good and services.
It does not create or manofacture materials. It´s aim is to provide services

PRIMARY SECTOR
This sector involves all the activities for to obtain natural resources for manofacturing or food.
Livestock Farming
Raise cattle and others animals to obtain products like meat, milk or wool.
Fishing
Fishermen and women catch fish in rivers, seas and oceans.
Silviculture
Silviculturists cultivate forest to obtain products like wood paper,resin and cork.
Crop Farming
They cultivates grain, fruits and vegetables in their fields.
Mining
Miner extract minerals like diamonds and iron from mines and petrol deposit under the ground.
