In this example, it is about someone seeing a bunny. At first, someone will have no reaction. Then there is this painful high pitched noise... the person then hears the noise and sees the bunny at the same time. Finally, when the person sees a bunny they will have fear that they are about to hear the painful noise. The facts that there is no reaction when seeing a bunny is the unconditioned response. The dog whistle is the neutral stimulus. The fear when seeing the bunny becomes the conditioned response!
