Modernization/Adaptation
Japan's worldview were rapidly changing and because of this, education was made mandatory , a democratic government was made,and religious freedom was instituted.
A new government in Japan was formed. They kept Japanese traditions alive, but also modernized the government, economic and social systems.
Japan embraced new technology and work hard to compete with other countries. Japan adapted in such a short amount of time that it caused a changing worldview for many.
