      - People's families at times have to mortage their homes in order to pay for treatment.
      - Moving on, drugs can also affect you realtionships with your family and hurt them emotionaly because of the following reasons:
        
        People distance themselves from their families and from positive aspects of their lifes
        
        your family can no longer trust what you say and do is true
        
        You become agressive and defiant with people who are trying to help who generally is your family
        
        You put stress upon your family as they will worry about you
      - You can steal from them either money and credit cards or items to trade for the drugs.
- - - - Marijuana: Marijuana is the dried leaves and flowers of the Cannabis sativa or Cannabis indica plant. It contains more than 500 chemicals and is consumed in many different ways but mainly through ingestion and smoking it. It changes the way nerve cells communicate and makes you feel "high". it has numerous effects on a persons body and mind.
        
        Meth: Meth is laboratory made and its normally made into a white pill or a "crystal". Meth is commonly injested, smoked, injected, and snorted. Meth is extremely adictive and has numerous consequences both mental and physical. Meth changes how the dopamine system works in the brain. It reduces a persons ability to feel pleausre from common activities. Physically it causes lack of appetite, high blood plesure and body temp.
        
        Alcohol: Many people don't recognise alcohol as a drug but it is. It can be very addictive and while a person is drunk there are many physical and mental effects. Some of these are: negative effects on information processing and learning, aggression, Decision-making skills are affected and there are many other effects.
        
        cocaine: "Cocaine is an addictive stimulant drug made from the leaves of the coca plant native to South America. " It comes in different forms but most commonly in powder. Cocaine prevents dopamine from being recycled in the brain affecting a persons brain completely. Physically cocaine can cause damage to intestines, cough, asthma, lung damage and many more.
        
        heroin: Heroin is extremely addictive and its made from morphine. The most common ways of use is injected, snorting, sniffed. "Short-term effects of heroin include a rush of good feelings and clouded thinking." Some physical long term effects are problems sleeping, heart infections and lung problems.
        
        tobacco/nicotine: tobacco and nicotine is extremely addictive and very common between teenagers now a day. Nicotine is injested through smoking and most commonly vaping. People like the dizzy feeling they get when they vape which causes addiction. Physically it causes effects like: increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, and faster breathing.

        Your friends will not like to hang with you while you are under the effects of drugs.
        
        While your friends want to go do certain activities you will simply want to do drugs.
        
        You will start to hang out with people who use drugs as well
        
        These people don't judge you but aren't the best influences
        
        Drugs user become paranoid about their relationships and effects like this each time cause your friends to distance themselves from you.
        
        Your friends will not like being associated with a drug user.
        
        Also drugs users become agressive and liars and no one will like to be around someone like that.
