origin/context
Written by Beethoven, who was born in 1770. Beethoven was a piano virtuoso, meaning he showed great skill in a difficult genre of music. Over the years, Beethoven grew deaf, but continued to compose anyway.
This piece was written at the end of the 18th century and was his eight published sonata.

Exposition- First Subject (11-50) - it is marked as Allegro di molto e con brio (very fast with vigour).

Slow introduction(1-10) - the music here is at a grave tempo, with a Six-note motif in a harmonic texture at the start.
Coda (295-the end) - the closing section of the piece. The music ends with fortissimo (perfect cadences) in the tonic key.

The full work spans to and includes accents. The introduction opens at - a dynamic not possible before the piano was invented.
