Force
How to read a scale
When scale has applied force(eg. person steps onto scale/platform), the scale will push back to keep person from breaking through
When person is on scale, the force will level out and look parallel to 0
-
When the reading on the scale is at the bottom(0), that means that the person/object is not on the scale meaning that the scale does not have to push back
When the reading spikes or goes up, that means the person is applying a large amount of force(like landing after jumping off or accelerating) that the platform has to push back as well.

when a person is standing on the platform the force of gravity is going to be bigger than the platform's force
acceleration
If acceleration is positive it is speeding up, if it is negative it is slowing down, if it is 0 it is staying constant
