During the II World War, the Nazis treated the Jews very badly.
In Germany the Jews had to wear a yellow star for indetification and they were forced to lived in special areas called "gettos".

Anne Frank was born in Germany in 1929. She was a Jewish and his family moved to Netherlands in 1930 to escape for persecution.
when the Nazis invaded Netherlands in 1940, she and her family were in danger again.
They prepared a secret rooms above buisness office. In summer of 1942, Anne and her family decided that it was the time to hide; Anne was 13.
