Summary
This project requires the installation of 11 new sample taking systems in the Gas Production environment.
U16/216: 8 sample systems - identical east and west.
CTF: 1 sample system.
U13: 2 sample system.
The sample will be collected over a 24 hour period, and the operator should be able to make a rough estimation of the amount of tar, gas liquor and oil based on the different interface levels in the sample bomb. The bomb should be fitted with a sight glass to see through. The sample will be removed and sent to the lab for analysis. After the analysis, the bomb will be cleaned and re-used.
An additional wish from the client is to have an automated measuring element installed to the proposed solution. This system should measure the different interfaces and send back the result to the DCS. This will not be used for control, but reference.
They require a VROOM for capital application on their side. Capital to flow in FY21.
Mandate was given to be creative in solving this problem
