THE LANGUAGE AND THE COMMUNICATION :!!:
" A WORD IS DEAD" by Emily Dickinson :explode:
the message of the poem is that the life of a word starts when it is said: the word’s meaning depends on the background, on the speakers, on the way to express it, on his connection with other words. Who knows the language and the communication knows that emotions caused by the words remain in time and consist in the life of the word.

And how often do we try to explain ourselves to someone who interpreted what we said in a way contrary to what we meant?
~A word is dead
When it is said
Some say.
I say it just
Begins to live
That day.~
"A word is dead" asks the questions, "What is life?," and "What is death?" When you speak, is the thought, the word, ending or beginning its life?

"A MESSAGE FROM THE EMPEROR" by Frank Kafka :explode:
This short story is about an emperor whom is on his death bed, he requests a messenger, the messenger reports to him and in kneels at his bedside. The messenger leans in closely as the Emperor whispers the message into his ear. The Messenger then sets off to deliver the message. We never learn this messages contents or of where its heading, because our story is cut short and we are left to wonder.
the narration tells of a message that can never be delivered, which represents the direct link between an ultimate form of Authority, and society.
The incommunicability of this message in turn reflects the inherent inability of society to be in communion with this ultimate symbol of authority.

"the predictable act by the Emperor of whispering stands in direct contrast to the lack of privacy that he has been submitted to by those present."
In this short story, the words died when they were spoken by him, since the words do not arrive at destination, they will never be heard.
