South Africa: South Africa faced a different kind of colonization, that mainly happened when the Dutch arrived in South Africa and later escalated when the British also arrived. The British’s arrival didn’t go smoothly, as when they arrived there were 2 huge wars that had sparked. The first one being the Zulu War, where the leader of the Zulu tribe, a man named Shaka, fought a bloody and brutal war against the British at the time of the 1870’ - 1880’s, which resulted in 1,000 people dying. The second war was the Boer War, where the Dutch, the British and the Afrikaans people (the native people) fought for the control of South Africa, in the year 1890s, which resulted in 50,000 people dying.
