3. Children that have been severely proved of attention and neglected have shown conclusively that :
- Neglect and severe deprivation will disrupt the way that the child’s brain develop and internalise information.
This increases the risk of Socio-emotional, cognitive and behavioural issues in the child :explode:
- It also causes the body’s stress response system development to be changed, which poses a greater risk for anxiety, depression and other unhealthy impairments for the child in the later stages of life. Severe neglect might also cause cardiovascular problem or any chronic health impairments in the child.
- Severe deprivation and neglect is also linked to a significant risk for emotional and interpersonal difficulties , as well as slow development in their personality. it also will cause poor skills for communication, assertiveness and the lack of confidence in the child. :sleepy:
- Neglecting the child have also shown a risk of learning difficulties and poor school achievement being high in the child, with the child having low IQ scores, short attention span as well as low rates of high school graduation. :tophat:
