The Hadley Cell
It is an atmospheric circulation that is key in determining where the Tropics is. It dissipates heat from the equator to high latitudes.

Trade Winds are easterly winds as they blow from the east towards the west. They are called NE Trade winds in the NH and SE Trade winds in the SH
Trade Winds tend to be significantly interrupted and modified over landmasses. Most blow over large expanse of the tropical oceans, leading to high rainfall over land masses
The Hadley Cell migrates across the latitudes due to the change of the position of the overhead sun (location of maximum solar heating)
March and September: ITCZ follows the Equator as the position of the overhead sun is above the equator
June/July: ITCZ is located in the NH (differs in latitude over land and sea) as overhead sun will be over Tropic of Cancer
December/January: ITCZ is located in the SH (differs in latitude over land and sea) as overhead sun over the Tropic of Capricorn
