Plural of Nouns ending in no Special Lette
To make most nouns plural, simply add an "S" at the end, as illustrated in the following pairs of sentences:

Unit 3. Adolescense
Nouns that end in consonant + “y” are added “ies”, and eliminated the letter “y”. Nouns that end in vowel + “y” are added “s”.
For example:

Story (ies)------------Stories
History (ies)---------Histories
Toy (s) ------------ Toys
Kitty (ies) -----------Kitties
Candy (ies) ---- -----Candies
Baby (ies) ---------- Babies
Plural of Nouns ending in “y”.
Unit 2. Childhood
Plural of nouns ending in “s”, “x”, “z”, “sh”, “ch”, “o
Example:
Switch – switches
For nouns that end in -ch, -sh, -s, -x, and –z, you must add "ES" to make them plural.
Examples: Faxes, fish, bees, Museums,Judges, Kisses Dinosaurs, Pianos, Witches, Cell phones, Tomatoes, Games.
