Definition
"Al-Yaumul Akhir" or the Last Day consists of a sequence of gruesome and dreadful events.
Timeline For The Sequence Of Events On The Last Day
The Well (Al-Haudh)
Every prophet has a well in the hereafter called 'al-Haudh', that shall be drunk from together with their people. After the trial in the court of Allah s.w.t. in Mahsyar and before being sent to Heaven, every believer shall taste the water from the well. This is a great gift from Allah s.w.t. especially to those who believe, do good deeds and fear Him always.
Second Sound Of The Trumpet
Raise all the creatures of Allah s'w't after the major destruction.
with His Might and Power' will make the angel Israfil the first creature to be raised up
the soul of all mankind will be retumed to their physical bodies and everybody will be raised from their own graves, with their heads still stained with soil.
A Place Between Heaven & Hell
The place between Heaven and Hell is a temporary place for a group of people called 'Ashaabul A'raaf' (the People of A'raaf). These people are those whose good deeds and sins are equally heavy. Eventually, they will still be given a chance to enter Heaven by the will of Allah s.w.!
First Sound Of The Trumpet
The Last Day will proceed with the first sound of the trumpet which will be executed by the angel Israfil
Planets in the universe will clash, the sun and the moon will collide with one another, and the stars will be scattered.
The Bridge (Al-Sirath)
all mankind will be required to cross a bridge that is very long and sharp, referred as the'al-sirath'' Mankind will cross this bridge in various ways accolding to their level of iman and their deeds in this world.
This bridge is directed towards Allah's Heaven and is iocated above Hell. Whosoever manages to cross the bridge safely will be abie to reach Heaven
Final Judgement
The deeds of man will be placed on Allah's s.w.t. weighing balance called 'al-Mizan' on the Duy of Judgement.
After all the deeds have been accounted for, the ,book of deeds, or record will be returned to their respective owners. Everyone will receive their'book of deeds' in a different manner; some will receive their record from their right' some from their left and others from their back.
Mass Assembly
they will be ordered to move towards the land of Mahsyar.
The condition in the land of Mahsyar will be scorching hot. The hot sun will be placed very close to our heads and man will be in profuse perspiration.
