In this report, we want to research about Materialism, why do people engage in this, and why or what is the starting point that encourages a person to engage in Materialism.

Materialistic people are less satisfied, grateful for their lives, more antisocial and have weaker connections with other people. They are linked to exposure to social media, comparing things they have to others.
Research from 2013 states that the most materialistic country is China. A survey conducted by global research firm IPSOS across 20 countries, found that a whopping 71% of Chinese say they gauge their success by the things they own.
Materialism is a tendency to regard material goods physical comfort more than spiritual values.Materialistic people believe that all things, even mental state and consciousness are because of material interactions.

Summary
To the amount of fashion and variety of things that this world has created are absolutely great to the eye of mankind. We are blessed by amazing creations all over. Soon after, items are ranked by their price and value. People start to seek expensive items to hold value in themselves for the expensive items which they own and will soon enough become a materialistic person. They value material items more than, for example, friendship.

To the problem , we must put those who are important first in mind. They can help us with this problem. Items are inanimate objects without any benefit other than slight respect, while human interaction can benefit us in a lot of ways..
