Epiglottis: To block food and water from entering the pharynx.

Urinary Major Organs:
Kidney:Remove waste from the body (uric acid, urea)

Layers of GI Tract
Mucosa:Lining of the lumen,Composed of 3 layers (epithelial, areolar connective, smooth muscle), Contains lymph tissue.
Submucosa: Contains the submucosal enteric neural plexus that controls GI secretions and localized blood flow also contains many glands which open into the lumen by way of ducts
Serosa:Secretes serous peritoneal fluid and Superficial layer of the viscera located in the abdominopelvic cavity
Muscularis external:Found in mouth, pharynx, upper esophagus and lower portion of the anal canal, Voluntary muscle control, found in the remainder of the GI tract, and had nervous innervations.
Nephron (anatomy): the microscopic structural and functional unit of the kidney. It is composed of a renal corpuscle and a renal tubule. Nephron (physiology): primary function of nephron is removing all waste products including the solid wastes, and other excess water from the blood, converting blood into the urine, reabsorption, secretion, and excretion of numerous substances
Digestive system disorders: Common digestive problems include heartburn/GERD, IBD, and IBS. Symptoms may include bloating, diarrhea, gas, stomach pain, and stomach cramps. Treatment includes a combination of medication and lifestyle changes
Urinary System Disorders: cancers of the urinary tract, incontinence (inability to control urine flow), interstitial cystitis, kidney stones, kidney failure, and urinary tract infections.
