TRIANGLES
ANGLES
In the plane, two rays with endpoints in common are called angles.

-
-
-
Adjacent Angles: Two angles are adjacent when they have a common side and a common vertex (cornerpoint), and don't overlap.
-
-
-
-
-
Alternate Exterior Angle: n=s, m=t
Alternate Interior Angles: o=r, p=q
Corresponding Angles: n=r, m=q, o=s, p=t
-
ANGLE SIDE RELATIONSHIP
In a triangle, the side opposite the larger angle is the longer side.
-
TRIANGLE INEQUALITY
The sum of the lenghts of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the lenght of the third sides.
-
-
CONGRUENT ANGLES
In a one-to-one mapping between 2 triangles, these two triangles are called co-triangles if the opposite sides and the opposite angles are equal.
-
-
-
SIDE-SIDE-SIDE POSTULATE
If all sides of a triangle are equal, these triangles are equal when a one-to-one match is made between the two triangles.
-
SIMILARITY
These triangles are similar if the dimensions of the mutual angles of two triangles are equal to each other and the lengths of their mutual sides are proportional.
-
-
SIDE-SIDE-SIDE POSTULATE
If the corresponding sides of two triangles are proportional, then the triangles are similar.
