What advice would you give to someone who is fasting for the first time?
You can do it!! Try fasting until a certain time and then you could drink or eat a little and continue fasting!!! Also take some naps!
It might be hard but once you get used to it it will be easy.
The advice that I would give is to eat well in the morning and not have junk food.
If your hungry do some thing that will take your mind off eating.
have a lot of healthy foods before the fast starts and get a lot of sleep in the day so that when you wake up there is less time till iftaar. Also try to do lots of things to distract you in the day so you forget that your fasting or that your hungry
I would tell them that it might be hard at first but after a while you will get used to it
Be patient and
think about imam
Hussain and his family
Try to get distracted
with something else
To not think to much
about it and try
Not to think about food and try to sleep inn dont do so much exercise and remember that your going to get so many good deeds 😇
I would keep on telling him about sabir because half of the reason that Allah makes us fast is ti test our sabir. Many prophets talk to us about sabir and the people who are having a hard time and are very patient, they will get something good out of it. Lastly i would tell them that allah is also making us fast so we could feel for the orphans and also imam hussain because he stayed without food or water for three whole days. If you ever get hungry, always remember Imam Hussain and the orphans.
take it easy. try to sleep
more and have fun.
Try not to focus on your hunger or your thirst, but to focus on woshipping and pleasing All-h.
The advice i would give is that would tell them to have a good sehri, drink water and eat food properly.
It kind of depends on if its a wajib fast or not, but I would say to not keep staring at food being hungry and waiting, I would say to get out and do something. Have fun, and be distracted, and try your best. You can do it!
do not move around to much and save your energy. take naps but make sure to pray on time
To not think about iftar and food to do a full fast and get thawab from fasting.
If I was going to give advice to someone fasting for the first time, I would tell them they should not think about being hungry and that just do what you normally do on a regular basis, and then when it is time for Iftar, they probably won't even be hungry.
I would say that they should have lots of patience. Also I would say to try to get some rest so most of the day will just fly away!
Don't worry if you get
hungry because you are
doing this for All-h and
he will give you a great reward
Try to sleep in cause
that makes your fast
way easier. Also try to
take a nap.
Make sure you have a
good sehri, lots of water
and take multi vitamins.
Also pray your salah on time.
You should be patient, it will go by fast. Fasting is not that hard. Make sure to go outside once in the afternoon for some fresh air and go for a 1-2 hour nap.
My advice would be that don’t use up to much energy and don’t do much except for prayer and etc
Try to not put your mind on food or beverages. Instead think about doing kind acts or helping others. A strategy that I use is sleeping in the middle of the day, before I didn’t take naps but now when I do it I feel better.
When you are fasting
be nice to everyone.
When you are fasting always pray and make duas to All-h and thank him that He has blessed you with food to eat.
To be patient because imam
husein had no food or
water for 3 days in a row
