Gap - Review/reform of CS primary/secondary curriculum / drop in university applications / is the bridge between secondary and university (Post 16) not fit for purpose. Are teachers capable to deliver CS at level 3 - training for secondary (key stage 2, 3 and 4). What is causing the lack of applicants at level 3 and university? poor qualification, under prepared learners or incompetent staff.

Background of curriculum - lots of focus on primary and second, gap in FE post 16. Decline in University applications CS
Send questionnaire to all FE staff relating to how they use technology. Can we measure the perceived impact of technology - TPACK.Questionnaire to CS staff at all campuses , closed and open ended questions relating to curriculum, modules, topics and how confident they are at deliveringModules/Topics to add or remove. Are staff comfortable teaching CS.
Identify topics which are difficult from survey and carry out focus group with students - collate results? / Lesson observations / Semi structured interviews.

Include learning models/TPACK or some other framework into questionnaire assess how confident lecturers are at teaching and which teaching and learning models they think are appropriate
