Old ways- co-located, F2F was great, now things got global. Digital training is a new reality, new ways

NEW ways- TCE dashboard was published on Knowledge Mart. Folks will tell you they understand, but they do not learn

How do we take it to the next level? How do we measure success and understanding? We have metrics now. How do we train digital?

Challenges

Experts do not structured way to transmit the knowledge, we give them structure. We repeat what worked before

How do we implement evaluation testing and we keep improving

Solutions

There are training to become a better trainer

SMEs are not trainers do not have the skills

SMEs are the ones delivering training and there are in high demand and NOT available they have no time to do this

We need time to document it- we need time with SMEs

It is not their priority

Motivating SMEs - offering support to create, we can certify you to demonstrate how to create a study guide.

Recognized and delivered some diplomas

It worked to add the skill to their goals at the end of the year in Workday (HP)

What is in it for them, that way they are more wiling to cooperate

executives, we wanted to know this is important and counted, executives signed, made it public,

we added visibility

generate empathy with people, this is not not their main task, highlight this is valuable

With previous manager, we made a special event with snacks and celebrate
