Everyone has a diferent perspective. For example, Auggie thought that Jack actually meant what he said, but Jack actually didn’t remember what he did. And to August’s sister, Jack was the same guy who made a rude sound all those years ago. If all of them put themselves in each other’s shoes, Via would think that Jack wasn’t mean, Jack would never have said what he said, and Auggie would have never thought that what Jack said was true.
