In Europe everyone relied on money, money was everything because if u were rich you were powerful but in japan if u were a good soldier the shogun would put you in charge.
In Europe the person at the top of the social structure had all the power but in Japan the person at the top (the emperor) had no power
In japan they realised they needed food to survive so their peasants were seen as important but in Europe peasants were seen as property.
