WHAT IS AN EMOTION?
A complex state of feeling that results in physical and psychological changes that influence thought and behavior. It involves three basic components:
SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE
It is believed that emotions are subjective, in other words , that they are nos experienced in the same way, people have different ways to interpret and feel things.
This varies depending the person, the environment and the culture.
Plus, we don't always experience pure forms of each emotion. Mixed emotions over different events or situations in our lives are common.
In other words, we dont have a "specific" emotion for a certain moment, these may varie and mix with others.
PHYSIOLOGICAL RESPONSE
Many of the physiological responses you experience during an emotion, are regulated by the sympathetic nervous system

BEHAVIORAL RESPONSE

Emotional intelligence

The way in which understand, interpret, and respond to the emotions of others.
Facial expressions

In some cases, our facial expressions may reveal our true feelings about a particular situation.
