Physiology
Blood eneters the afferent arteriole and flows through glomerulus where it is filtered. Molecules and ions are then reabsorbed into the circulatory system. The fluid then passes through components of the nephron. Substances will then be removed from the blood through the peritubular capillary and into the collecting duct.
