They become lovers and plan to move to London together, but she leaves from Russia the the day of the runaway. King Charles II sends him to Costantinopole. There he meets a women, Rosina Pepita who drugs him making him marry her and changing his body into a woman. He's found in trance and when she wakes up she quickly get used to it and follow and old gypsy back to her tribe. There she doesn't get on well and decide to sail back to England. She falls in love with the captain Nicholas and then meets Harriet, again, but this time he discovers that she's actually a man. She doesn't fell good with him and leaves him. She stays with some prostitutes for a while till the end of the 18th century. She then goes out and fallign twists her anckle. Marmaduke Bonthrop Shelmerdine rescues her, they discover they're meant to stay together and before Shel has to go they get married. Orlando finishes the manuscript 'The Oak Tree'. She finds Nick Greene who gets impressed once he's read the book. She gets to heve the book published and during the queen Victoria's reing Orlando sees a very bright light that takes her out of the world. She's only 36. She goes out to bury her book, 'The Oak Tree', and have a last look around seeing her husband, the dead queen coming to her house and then planes above the sky.
