CARACHTERISTICS
dramas can be performed on stage, on film, or the radio
to make plays dramatic, playwrights try to build the audience's feelings of tension and anticipation as the development of the story, so the audience wants to know what's going to happen and kepps guessing
TYPES OF DRAMA
COMEDY - lighter in tone, make the audience laugh, happy ending
TRAGEDY - darker themes, serious subjects (death, human suffering, disaster..) in a though-provoking way
FARCE - subcategory of comedy, characters intentionally overact and engage in slapstick or physical humor

OPERA - mix of theatre, music, dialogue and dance to tell grand stories of tragedy or comedy
unreal activity, which can be indulged only if everyone invlved admits it
DEFINITION
drama is the portrayal of fictional or no-fictional events through the performance of written dialogue

a type of literature that's written to be performes in front of an audience. Writtn in form of a script and the story is told through the lines of the characters played by actors
