When you think the information is true. Ex. Don´t people often move when they change jobs? ( My experience tells me people often move when they change jobs.
Surprise or disbelief. Ex. A. Tom has changed his major to English. B. Really? Isn´t he still planning to work at the bank?

Answering
Respond just as you would a regular Yes/No questions. Ex. Don´t you want to move? ( Do you want to move?). Yes, I do. I´d would like to live somewhere else. / I don´t. I really want to stay here.
Tag Questions
Forming
Auxiliary verb, a modal, or a form of be. Auxiliary Verbs are the verbs be, do, have, will. Can, etc.

+ tag with a - statement. Ex. They don´t live in Chicago, do they? - tag with an + statement. Ex. They live in Chicago, don´t they?
Answering
In negative tags, we expect the listener to answer yes, but it is possible to answer no
In afirmative tags, we expect the listener to answer no, but it is possible to answer yes
