What if the villagers were able to fight back against the soldiers because Toris gave Paul wrong information?

Reeve comes up with an idea that if they want to work hard they can have a plateau that was across the river from the town.

What if Because of the threat of war starting up again and villages being destroyed by a crazy warlord army, refugees start showing up in the village looking for a safe place. What is expected? They would be a place for them to stay in town. What is unexpected? They would be run out of town because of people fearing them.

What is unexpected:One of the refugees is Xena's friend and knows where she at and what she's been up too.
What if?: Toris finds trash floating in the river that's coming into the ditches that waters his orchard and the town's fields.

What if? Toris and his fieldhands Zeb, Jacob, Paddy, Ram, Lam, & Paul in the orchards picking fruit.

What is expected? Paul notices Hadley first come into the orchard, stops and talks to her.
What is expected? On the picnic with Hadley, Toris holds his feelings inside and is quiet and he doesn't confront Paul or Hadley at the orchards.

What is expected? Later after work Toris uses a flour sack in his barn to takes his anger and frustrations out on about Paul and Hadley.

PREMISE: Peacemaker orchard owner (situation)Toris (protagonist) goes on a picnic with Hadley a girl he likes a lot. (objective) but before they could leave Paul (opponent) flirts with Hadley(Conflict) the picnic date wasn't very exciting because Toris was obsessing about earlier. (disaster) Later when Toris is by himself he takes his anger out on a flour sack in his barn.
