與原來動詞意義相近

  1. 仍能從字面上探知意義

已與原來動詞意義不同

後面不需再加受詞

  1. 可單獨存在
  1. Throw the ball. 把球丟出去。
    --->動詞 throw：把球投擲出去。
    Throw away the ball. 把球丟掉。
    --->片語動詞 throw away：把球扔到垃圾桶裡。
    Come in from the porch. 從走廊上進來吧。
    --->進來室內。
    Come out to the porch. 出來走廊上吧。
    --->出來室外。
  1. If you are going to throw up, go into the bathroom.
    如果你要吐，就到廁所去。
    --->throw up：吐【79-01】
    The bank robber came out after the police cornered him.
    這名銀行搶匪在被警方包圍之後，只好現身。
    --->come out：出現
