Requirement of Almsgiving - purifying wealth and free from greed. - Purifying the nafs (soul) - getting rid of temptation and desires that stray from Allah. - Al Ghazali - using desires in the way Allah wants. - Purifying the nafs - more inline with Allah's will and they achieve inner peace.
World Peace - 2.5% of wage to charitable outlet - social justice - right relationships with others.
