Forces - Coggle Diagram

- - - - pull is the force of moving something or someone in a particular direction
      - the harder you pull the faster the object will move
      - an example would be pulling your socks up
      - Observation - when we pulled the friction block, it got harder to pull every time we added more weight and the force needed to pull the weight became more and more
    - - a twist is a rotation around a stationary point
      - an example of a twist is twisting open a bottle cap
      - twist is also known as torsion and it is not just a turn it turns while in a stationary point
    - - Friction is the force between two surfaces that are moving across eachother
      - fact-there are four "types: of friction, a characteristic of friction is that it is parallel to the contact surface and always moves in a direction that disagrees with motion
      - an example of friction would be someone rubbing their hands together
      - Observation - an observation of a friction experiment was when we put the pages of two books together and tries to pull them apart, it was impossible to take the books apart until we loosened them because both books were using the force against eachother
    - - when you use force to move an object with contact
      - it is easier to push a lighter object
      - an example would be pushing a door shut
      - Observation- the heavier the ball the harder it is to push it, when we tried pushing the balloon underwater it was pretty hard when both the water kept pushing against the balloon.
