Forces, sorry, i could only add one picture, and then it said it couldnt…
Forces
Types of Forces
Contact Forces
-
Pull
Pull is a force that you use when you want to bring something towards you or in the direction you are moving.
an example of the pull force is when you are walking your dog and they sit down and don't want to move, so you have to pull them along. The reason I know it is a pull force, it because the dog starts moving in my direction.
-
I observed this when we pulled friction blocks along the desks. to pull it you needed a certain amount of strength
-
Normal
this is the force that allows things to be the way they are. it allows you to sit on the ground and for gravity not to pull you down into the centre of the Earth
i observe this every day when you do something, normal force keeps the thing you are moving in place. if you lean against the wall, normal force keeps it in place and not moving in the direction you are leaning on it.

Non-Contact Forces
Gravity
Gravity is the reason that when you throw a ball in the air, it comes back down. the more matter something has, the more effect gravity has on it.
Sorry, Mr Lane, It won't let me upload pictures
an example of this is when you drop something onto the ground. you notice that it doesn't float in the air, it falls to the ground.
An observation of this is when Mr Lane stood on a table in the science labs and drops a bag of nuts on the floor. it fell right away.
