main cause of AKI is insufficient nutrient delivery and insufficient oxygen
Nursing considerations
pt has a history of type 1 DM
pt is smoker of 1/2 PPD, occasional alcohol, and recent IV drug use
Medication
Fentanyl 50 mcg q 1 hr dor pain, IVP
