Jews refused to think of Roman emperors as a god
Anybody who refused to follow Roman gods were sentenced to death.
At one point the religion became illegal.

Rise and Spread of Christianity
In 312 CE Emperor Constantine converted to Christianity, since everybody wanted to be like the emperor in Rome this caused a massive spread of Christianity
Emperor Constantine converted because he had a dream before a battle that told him to put God's sign on his shields.
Crucification of Jesus
Jesus gets crucified because he got betrayed by one of his own. He was crucified by the Romans on 30 CE.
He rose from the grave 3 days later and rose to heaven.
Spread of Christianity
Paul on on 45 CE goes on a trip to spread Christianity, he will soon go on 4 more.
Thomas, one of Jesus's former disciple, travels to Persia, Ehiopia, and India to spread Christianity in 35 CE.
Jewish Diaspora
Becuase of Christianity's rapid growth, Claudius expels all Jews from Roman in 49 CE. This also included Christians because Jews and Christians were technically not seperate.
Christianity becomes Official
49 CE is the estimated time where Christianity becomes different from Judaism and becomes an official religion.
Jesus's Disciples Removal
In 61 CE Paul was imprisoned, following that 3 years later Peter, another disciple of Jesus was crucified.
In 67 CE the last of Jesus's disciples, Paul, was beheaded under the order of Emperor Nero.
Christianity Toleration
In 313 CE Constantine made the Edict of Milan, and it established the official toleration for Christianity.
Christianity becomes Official V2
In 380 CE Emperor Theodosius makes Christianity the official religion of Rome, ruling out all other religions.
