      - Example: Everything has Gravity, but Earth has the largest, so an example of Gravity would be Earth keeping you on the planet by pulling you towards its center.
      - Explanation: Gravity is what keeps everything on the planet. Everything with mass has a gravitational pull, but the planet's gravity are the strongest. The Earth keeps everything on it, and the Moon causes the ocean's tides. Stars, Galaxies and even light have Gravity and are brought towards each other.
      - The Earth's Gravity always pulls everything towards it at the same speed, but air resistance is what keeps some things from falling faster than others. e.g. a feather will fall slower than a bowling ball because air resistance is stronger on the feather.
  - - - Explanation: Something or someone using force to bring something or someone closer to them, or to them.
      - It is easier to pull lighter things towards you, but harder with heavier things.

    - - It is easier to twist lighter things than heavier things.
      - Twist a lid off a jar.
      - Explanation: Someone or something using force to rotate something.
    - - The more friction something has, the more heat there will me

      - Explanation: Friction is the force between two surfaces that are trying to slide against each other. Friction makes this difficult by pushing in the opposite direction than which the moving surface is going.
    - - Explanation: A normal force is when an opposing force (e.g. Gravity) is trying to pull something down, but the normal force prevents it from happening. This only occurs when 2 objects come in contact with each other.
      - There needs to an object to enable to normal force to happen. The heavier the object falling, the more mass the preventing object needs to be able to hold
      - If I lean against a wall, gravity is pulling my down, but the normal force from the wall is keeping me up right.
    - - It is harder to push heavier objects, and easier with lighter.
      - Pushing a whale into the water.
      - Explanation: One object causing another object to move by contact.
- - - - Like most things, it is easier to lift up the things that are lighter, and harder with the more heaver things.
      - Example: If i wanted to lift up a weight, I would attach it to the longer end and pull down with all my might to the other end, sending the weight up.
      - Explanation: A pulley is a simple machine that comprises of a wheel on an axle. On one end, there a the load/weight you want to lift up, and on the other, someone or something heavy pulls down on the rope, causing the object on the other end to lift up. The metal in the middle is one of the most important parts of the machine. It is used to save effort and time by not making you lift something up by yourself.
    - - Example: If I wanted to launch a block into the air, I could put the block onto the small end of the lever, then push down on the larger end to launch it.
      - The heaver the thing you want to lift is, the more pressure/force you will need to lift it.
      - Explanation: A lever is an arm on top of something called a fulcrum. The fulcrum is in the middle, with the arm being on top of it, with 1 side being longer than the other. A lever is used to lift something up by putting pressure onto the opposite end.
    - - Example: A very common example is twisting the lid off a jar.
      - Explanation: A screw is a usually cylindrical metal rod that is small and has a sharp point on one end, a circular platform on the other end, and wedges along the side. Screws are used. Screws are usually used to hold things together. Most screws involve you twisting it clockwise to put the screw in, and anti-clockwise to open something
      - The more you twist something closed, the more force you need to put into twisting it open.
    - - Example: A wooden plank being suspended into a truck for a wheelbarrow to go into.
      - Explanation: An inclined plane (more commonly known as a ramp) is a flat surface, with one end being higher than the other. This means that you are able to push things up it, roll things down it and other possibilities. It is sometimes a triangular prism, being opaque and not hollow, but other forms of inclined planes can be a piece of wood, with one end suspended, taking the same shape as other forms of inclined planes.
    - - Example: I can use a wedge to separate two pieces of Lego that are very stuck together.
      - Explanation: A wedge is a triangular-shaped object, and is basically a portable inclined-plane. It is used to separate 2 potions of an object, or to separate an object into 2 portions. You could use a hammer to knock the wedge further into the object.
    - - Example: A doorknob is made up of two parts. The thing connected to the door the axle) and the thing that is connected to that (the wheel). Together they enable you to twist a doorknob open, giving you access to the room.
      - Explanation: A wheel and axle is a combination of two pieces, allowing you rotate a wheel around. Common examples of these include wheels on a car, a ceiling fan and revolving doors. The first piece is the axle. This is a stationary item, which is thin enough for the wheel to fit on. The wheel is the main contraption, and is what spins around, whether it be by human contact or an electric motor. The wheel sits on the axle, allowing you to move the wheel in a circular motion if created correctly.
