- - - - experiment; pushing a heavy object aside with enough force to move it. to push on a swing. The force moves the swing in a particular direction and the harder that you push the further the swing will go.
        
        this picture shows a man pushing a box forward. in the bottom photo it shows the the way the man was facing, he was applying the force and that the opposite way is the friction and the reaction that comes with it.
        
        fact: car repairers are one of the biggest push and pull force users. meaning their job consists of them having to use these forces.
        
        Observation: I have learned that the mechanical systems using this force are things such as drills or hammers because they have to push down to get the nail in the hole. That it can be turned into a non-contact force by having two south side magnets together.

        what the picture is showing is that when you pull something it will come towards you. as you can see the man is pulling the rope towards him making it go the way he is moving
        
        fact; the pulley was one of the fist pulling inventions discovered for work in 287 BC
        
        observation: I learned that you can convert a push force into a pull force by changing the motion and direction of the pull. I know understand that gravity goes into everything and that pull can be a non-contact force. it can be a non-contact force like a raindrop being pulled by gravity towards the ground.
  - - - example;when you travel by a bus/vehicle the air opposes normal force.
        
        the picture states that the normal force is perpendicular to the surface in contact.It makes sense that the force is perpendicular to the surface since the normal force is what prevents solid objects from passing through each other.
        
        fact; If there was no normal force, you'd be slowly seeping into the ground.
  - - - facts: 1. that there is another name for twist or the scientific name which is torsion
        
        experiment: twisting a lid of a bottle or glass jar. 2. twisting a towel to get water out of it and causing the liquid to be removed.
        
        observation: that you can convert a twist force. I found that a mechanical pencil sharpener has rotating blades which twists the pencil and makes it sharp.

        When you twist the sealed bottle, you decrease the volume of the air trapped inside. When gas molecules are forced closer together in this way, the pressure inside increases. This increased pressure is what causes the cap to fly across the room when you release it.

        A sled sliding across snow or ice.

        what is happening in this picture is that it is trying to show you that when two flat surfaces are in contact it causes friction which makes things move.
        
        fact;Friction works against the motion and acts in the opposite direction. When one object is sliding on another it starts to slow down due to friction.
- - - - experiment;the tennisball being dropped onto the table top and being pulled towards the floor.
        
        this pictures shows what happens when a ball is being thrown at a different direction they both go to the ground but at a slower speed and different angle.
        
        fact about gravity: 1.You would feel weightless at the center of the Earth. 2.The force of gravity 100 kilometres (62 miles) above Earth is just 3% less than at the Earth's surface.

        what the picture is telling us is that when two forces are put together the opposites create an energy charge which causes the to be attracted to eachother.
        
        fact: Electrostatics involves the buildup of charge on the surface of objects due to contact with other surfaces.
        
        Although charge exchange happens whenever any two surfaces contact and separate, the effects of charge exchange are usually only noticed when at least one of the surfaces has a high resistance to electrical flow.
        
        observation: I observed from the gravity activity I did that when the planets were further away there was a slower pull. I learnt that the bigger the mass of the sun the bigger the force is. I observed that when I changed the color of the sun and took the red away the motion changed.

        fact: The Earth's magnetic field is 1,000 times weaker than a typical bar magnet.
