prepare supplies for decoration( markers, tape, etc)
look at some example structures on the internet
create my own journal structures
write down my daily plans, important events and some of my favorite things( music, art, etc)

might mess up the decorating part
forget to update the journal everyday
run out of decoration ideas

get used to the structure and how decorations work
get interested in decorating
happy about my final product and might want to continue my journal
