Push force is the opposite to pull force. We do understand it at a young age as well but instead of moving something towards yourself you are moving something away from yourself.

Examples of applications of pull force in real life might be a tug of war competition but it doesn't even have to be that strong. pull force is in something as simple as pulling a sheet of paper towards you.

Twist has another name, torsion.

Normal
Normal force is the force that pulls against gravity and friction, it is the force that stops all forces. Like the force coming off a table, stopping something from being affected by gravity.

Normal force is close to push and pull forces as it is either pulling or pushing against the opposite force
Friction

An example would be sliding along the ground, the friction stops you.
