COMMUNICATION
POSITIVE: Able to speak with Minny, despite her skin colour. She's able to be impartial and use positive communication traits, marked by her open mindedness and her willingness to listen to Minny even if the words Minny says aren't always pleasant.
NEGATIVE: She isn't quite open and honest about her words. It seems that through the first seven chapters, she's been very in-the-shadows about some of her emotions, even though she's an excellent listener.
CREATIVE THINKING
POSITIVE: She is able to think well about how to hide Minny's presence from her husband, occasionally messing up to give her husband a false sense that she still makes silly mistakes every so often. She is quite deceptive, which requires good creative thinking skills, although the act in itself isn't necessary a positive trait.
NEGATIVE: Her cooking skills are obviously evidence to her subpar creative thinking skills, especially after Minny's repeated advice, one would expect her to be better than amateur at cooking; which she isn't. She doesn't have good reception to skills that require creativity.

CRITICAL THINKING
POSITIVE: She is able to ask purposeful questions in the course of her cooking lessons with Minny. They are relevant to the topic at hand.
NEGATIVE: She is still quite indecisive with her actions, leading her to panic, instead of evaluate the situation using a critical lens of view.
PERSONAL AWARENESS
POSITIVE: She is extremely careful, which leads to the conclusion that she is also responsible for her own actions.
NEGATIVE: For some unexplained reason, she isn't healthy and doesn't really do much self care.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
POSITIVE: She is all of the positive adjectives in this category. She is kind, accepting, generous, inclusive, morally aligned, and politically aware of herself and the society she lives in.
NEGATIVE: She isn't necessarily good at understanding social boundaries which is not necessarily morally a negative thing, it just contributes to some unhappiness in her life. From a certain point of view, she is an anarchist, when she looks to tear down social boundaries set up between white people and people of colour.
