push
:
push is one of the most used forces it is when you push some thing away or to move some thing in front if you forward. A few examples of push force is pressing a button, opening a door inwards and using a knife in the kitchen.
pull
Pull force is when you try to pull something along or to you. it is used in a lot of things from a tug of war to just picking things up carrying things is also an example of pull force.
-
twist
another word for a force that twists stuff is torsion twist something that has bent around itself witch is twist force. When you twist an object around one way the force is going the other way because it tries to go to the original shape. An example of twist force is a catapult it is used when it twists then it twists to original shape to fling the caterpult.
friction
friction is what makes things slow down, for example, you roll a bowling ball across the special ground but if you rolled it against grass there would be a lot more friction making the ball go slower quicker.
-
a normal force is a contact force that two object hit each other then they go the opposite way for example you put a chair on the table and the chairs force is going downwards and the tables force is going upwards so it is measured in newtons.
non contact
gravity
gravity is a force that pulls things on the ground it helps by making things move faster and keeping us on the ground. there is gravity every where even in space. experiment 1.An example of gravity is when a tennis ball is at a high point then it rolls down a book and gains speed.
-
magnetic
Magnetic force is a force that moves objects it also keeps things in place and is used a lot all around the world. the materials that it moves is metals like copper, ore and ion. it is used in space as well the sun uses gravity to keep the earth and other planets circling it also the moon with the waves. we could move the paper clips and the other magnet.
-
electrostatic
