Contact Forces
Push
-
-
D.
-
E. There are lots of variables that can change the way a push force occurs, a push force can also be a non contact force.
Pull
-
-
-
D.
E. You cant convert a push to a pull force, a pull force also cant be a non contact force and there are machines that use it.
Twist
-
D.
-
-
E. Your are able to convert a push force to a pull force and there are mechanical systems that use a twisting force.
Normal
C. When you put you laptop on a desk gravity is pulling it down and the normal force of the desk is keeping it from not falling through.
D.
-
A. A normal force is something on a solid object that lets us run into it instead of walking through it.
Friction

D.
Non-contact Forces
Magnetism
C. Experiment 1, using a magnet to see what objects you can pick up.
A. Magnetism is a force which attracts metals like nickel, iron, steel and cobalt. There is a south pole and a north pole they attract to each other and repel themselves.
B. South pole will attract north pole but south pole will repel another south pole and that is the same with north pole.
D.
E. Magnets only attract to some metals. to show how strong magnets are and what way the magnatism is going there is diagrams and the closer the lines are together the stronger the magnet.
Gravity
C. Experiment 1, rolling a tennis ball down a book.
-
-
D.
E. The planets travel into the sun and when you use the sun without the red g they both travel towards each other but then the planet crashes into the sun.
