Contact forces

Twist
-
Form into a bent, curling, or distorted shape.
-
Friction
The resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving over another. e.g if there are two books and you mix the pages together it is really difficult to pull them apart.
-
So friction is a force that goes together, like rubbing your hands together the reason they get hot is because of friction. Friction is all around us in loads of things we do.
Normal
Normal force is the component of a contact force That is perpendicular to the surface that an object contacts e.g If you push against a wall the wall stays still and doesn't move this is because there is a force acting upon it which is normal making it motionless.
-
Non- contact forces
-
Magnetism
Magnetism is a force with two magnetic object and they attract to each other these are called magnets.
-
Electrostatic
Electrostatics, also known as static electricity is the branch of physics that deals with stationary electric charges.
