Firing Range: do not smoke, eat, drink, wear ear/eye protection, never fire alone, use vent systems, ask for advice if unfamiliar, be certain that backstop is enough, keep firearm unloaded/action open when not firing, always point muzzle downrange, be certain there is no obstruction, if safety is a concern use a mount/stand, advise others when ready to fire, listen/comply with range commands when firing in a group, if misfired, point downrange for at least 10 seconds before opening action, never fire a succeeding shot after malfunction without unloading/checking for obstruction, after firing, clear firearm, open action, and remove magazine.
