forces
contact forces
friction
A) when a surface rubs against a force it creates friction B) if there is more friction more heat is created C) if u rub your hands together your hands will get very hot
twist
A) when something rotates from a still point B) twist is not an actual forces because it you cant represent it using straight arrows C) when i twist the lid of a jar it came off Q 1 no Q 2 gears and there in lots of old machines Q 3 i think because you cant represent it with straight arrows
pull
A) when u have to pull something back B) most times when u pull something there is friction used because you have to drag on the ground C) i pulled the rope in tug of war Q 1 yes by moving to the other side of the object then pull it Q 2 no i don't think so Q 3 yes a scale
push
A) when an object moves another object by contact
B)its harder or to push heavier objects because they require more force
C) I pushed my bike up the hill when i got a flat tire
Q 1 gravity and friction with the air
Q 2 pistons
Q 3 no because u have to actually make contact to push something
normal
A) its when somethings sits on another object B) this force is most used with most people not even knowing there doing it C) when i put my laptop on my desk it dosn't go though the table
non contact forces
magnetism
A) a physical phenomenon produced by the motion of electric charge, which results in attractive and repulsive forces between objects B) magnets can create the strongest flow of magnetism C) magnets can attache to pretty much every metal
gravity
A) its the force that makes everything and every one not just float around in space so it hold everything on earth back down in the direction of the middle of the earth B) its gravity that makes all the planets in our solar er system orbit around the sun and not just float around in space C) when you jump up the only reason you come back down to earth is because of gravity
eletrostatic
A) relating to stationary electric charges or fields as opposed to electric currents B) when u rub a balloon against a cloth then put it next to a flowing water stream the electro static waves push the water away C) if u rub a balloon on the top of your head your hair will stick up after woods
