All of our energy in glucose is now in FADH2 and NADH, so they're going to transfer their electrons into an electron transport chain. They move through a series of proteins, which are called electron carriers. Those electrons and those protons are added to oxygen (the last electron acceptor), which creates water. Now, the electron transport chain, what it did, was pump protons (H+) into intermembrane space. Now there is high concentration of these protons, so they have to go through a molecule called ATP-Synthase. They move through it, rotate it, and create about 32ATP.
