We have a business go lives and we have production go lives
During production go live BI team develops only foundational capablity, in many cases leveraging or building on topi of existing legacy reports
Right now for the purpose of Simplify BI deployment there are treated the same: full release Readiness checklist is applied and training audit requirements are expected
Three levels of access: environment, data, and consumption tools
No access to S4 is needed, only Webi needs to be used GRC
MTP/Technical release
Data models delivered is of no interest to end users
Only project team has access, nobody has access but very limited # of folks
From product to business go live was 12 months for Attainment MS
Iterations, building the capability to answer business questions, from static dashboard to a solution
we align on the key business objectives, align on performance, data quality
reconciliation of the legacy data to the new report is mapped, only can be done when the data is in production
Things gets pushed to production and dates can move all the time
Finance gets access to some types of data models ahead of the business release. Newer ODW- Tableau or Webi

Most of the time buz go live is much further out than technical
