Social Inequality
The Cunningham’s
The Cunningham family is one of the poorest family in Maycomb, so this automatically put them at the bottom of the social hierarchy
The Cunninghams never took anything they can’t pay back—no church baskets and no scrip stamps. They never took anything off of anybody, they get along on what they have.
When Scout wants to spend more time with Walter Cunningham, Aunt Alexandra refuses, saying no Finch girl should ever be company with a Cunningham

Tom Robinson
-
By feeling sorry for Mayella, Tom put himself above her, and whites are always superior to blacks.
Atticus was asked to take Mr Robinson's case as no other lawyer would have taken. The jury then convicted Tom on little to no evidence just because he was a black man.
Scout
-
Being a woman who was more of a tomboy then a traditional woman made her lest eligible to find a husband
Aunt Alexandra who is a higher classes citizen pulls both Jem and Scout into line, to make sure they uphold the Finches high regarded reputation.
Aunt Alexandra was fanatical on the subject of my attire. I could not possibly hope to be a lady if i wore breeches: when I said I could do nothing in a dress she said I wasn't suposed to be doing things that require pants
This quote shows that to be a lady is to wear and act like a lady, wearing pants and doing activities that require pants is not ladylike and a man's job
Mr Ewell
Bob Ewell curses and spits at Atticus because he's mad at Atticus for making him look bad in front of the entire town.
