- - - - Since the first-generation, 2007 iPhone, there has been more than 24,000 different variations of android smartphone. On the other hand, there have only been 18 different models of iPhone.
- - - - The studies Hampton and Rosen conducted may have yielded different results, but they both have a valid argument on how people as a society use technology in our everyday social interaction.
  - - - After discoing how much I used my phone and what I use it for, I decided to try to take and hour when a wake up and an hour before I sleep to decompress from my smartphone. This means there are 2 less hours in the day to be disconnected. This is a great first step in taking control of smartphone and technology dependency.
    - - I spent 60% of my time on Social Networking apps. Starting this project, I knew I spent a lot of time on social networking apps, but I would have never thought it would be 22 hours per week. I also spent around 10 hours per week on entertainment apps.
    - - Also was able to see how technology effects different aspects of life like academics, social life, and personal life.
